SCHEME WILL MAKE BURTON A 'MORE ATTRACTIVE LOCATION'
THE decision to approve major expansion plans for Shobnall Retail Park, which will see eight units built and 150 jobs created, has won the backing of the MP for Burton and Uttoxeter.
As revealed by the Burton Mail yesterday, the development was approved unanimously by East Staffordshire Borough Council's planning committee.
It will include a new Marks & Spencer Foodhall, a drive-thru Greggs, a Jolleys pet food store, and a 24-lane Tenpin bowling venue.
MP Jacob Collier, above, said: "I'm delighted that planning permission for the new Maplevale development on Shobnall Retail Park has been approved.
