Derby have long been the butt of jokes for being recognised as fielding the worst Premier League team in the competition's relatively short history following their disastrous 2007-08 campaign.
Paul Jewell's side finished with only 11 points that season and it was long seen as a record that would never be broken or equalled - until now. Southampton are in real danger of becoming joint holders of that particular crown. The rock-bottom Saints have yet to surpass Derby's total.
They only need one point to avoid going down in ignominy but their last three games of the season see them face Arsenal, Manchester City and Everton.

Timi Max Elsnik may have left Derby County during Frank Lampard's time in charge but he clearly still retains a soft spot for the club he departed in 2019.
The midfielder had obviously kept a close eye on Derby's battle for Championship survival
