STAR BBC DJS AND ROCK ICONS ARE SET TO GRACE THE STAGE

EXCITEMENT is building ahead of a new three-day music festival next summer - and it has secured some big names to kick things off.

RG Live has announced its new series launching at Melbourne Hall, boasting iconic rock bands and big-name BBC DJs and.

The weekend opens on Friday, July 24, with a night celebrating 1990s and pop culture.

BBC Radio One's Jo Whiley will bring her 90s anthems to the stage, showcasing the broadcaster's longstanding links to the decade's biggest artists and tracks.

She will be joined by Scott Mills, who will draw on more than 25 years of chart and radio experience, and Toby Spin, known for high-energy sets across UK festivals and club stages.

Together, the three acts are set to provide a opening night, designed for broad audiences.
