CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS TO ACT AS SNOW WARDENS
VOLUNTEERS in South Derbyshire are wanted to help clear snow and ice from the roads this winter.
Derbyshire County Council is on the lookout for residents and community groups willing to help keep their communities safe when bad weather hits to join its Snow Warden scheme.
They will supplement work carried out by the council's own gritting teams and farmer contractors.
