Final third demands from boss after away draw for the Rams

JOHN Eustace says he is seeing “lots of positive strides” from his Derby County team but says their work in the final third needs to improve.
Derby fought back from being 1-0 down at Wrexham on Saturday as Ben Brereton Diaz rescued a point with a stunning strike in the second half.
The win took the Rams out of the bottom three before the rest of the 3pm kickoffs in what has been a slow start to the campaign so far.
After making 13 signings and letting 13 players leave, Eustace has said the squad needs time to settle following what a busy summer.
But he feels he is seeing progress where it matters and feels the Rams will only get better as the weeks fly by.
“It’s small steps and I've said it’s going to be a slow start,’ said Eustace.
“I'm seeing lots of positive strides going forward and you can see the final third stuff needs to improve.
“But we've got a really good squad. We're going to be building and growing together throughout the season.
“To come here and get a point under difficult conditions and going a goal down is really pleasing”
