You've heard of Brewers' Fan Advisory Board - here's what they're doing

MOST Burton Albion supporters will know that one of the Nordic Football Group's first moves when they bought the club was to form a Fan Advisory Board in a bid to strengthen links between the club and the fans. But perhaps some will wonder - well, what happened next and where does the FAB fit into the way the Brewers are being run now? Chairman Andy Woolley has the answers to those questions and here's his article.

FOOTBALL is nothing without the fans - and for Burton Albion, that means everything.

As we celebrate 75 years of Burton Albion, the club is not just looking back - it's laying the foundations for the next 75.

One of the key milestones in this celebratory year is the creation and launch of the Fan Advisory Board (FAB) - a bold step forward in the club's commitment to sustainable success and meaningful fan engagement.

You'll often hear the phrase "football is nothing without the fans." Whether or not the broadcasters truly believe it, at Burton Albion, they absolutely do.

That's why the FAB has been established, not just as a sounding board, but as a caretaker of the club on behalf of the fans.

As a club proud to be "the biggest of the small clubs" - an underdog with heart, ambition and deep community roots - this is being embraced through the FAB's vision: to ensure that the voices of our supporters are heard, respected and reflected in the decisions that shape our future.

The FAB is here to help build a stronger, more connected Burton Albion family, in which fans are not just spectators but active participants in the journey.

What Is the FAB?

Formed in March, following a rigorous interview process and a public vote, the Burton Albion FAB is a group of dedicated supporters working alongside the club to represent the voice of the fans.
