Care leavers offer talent, ambition and enthusiasm'

BUSINESS bosses in East Staffordshire are being encouraged to employ care leavers from the county as a way to diversify their workforce.
A Supporting Care Leavers into Employment programme has been launched by the county council.
It matches businesses with young people who have the right skills for new opportunities and tapping into a wealth of skills.
By signing up to the programme, companies can obtain a quality mark for demonstrating a commitment to social value and becoming a corporate parent. They can earn gold, silver or bronze awards based on their levels of support.
