STRATEGY TO BOOST TOURISM IN BURTON IS SET TO BE APPROVED AFTER 18 MONTHS
COUNCILLORS are set to sign off on a tourism strategy for Burton following 18 months of work.
The strategy, called Burton upon Trent Place visual identity and written narrative, is the result of consultation with more than 800 people and various social media posts to come up with four key themes.
Now the plan is set to be signed off by council leaders at East Staffordshire Borough Council.
The piece of work, which started in autumn 2023, aims to better position the town as a tourist destination.
