Banjo enthusiasts gathered for huge gathering of music

A SOUTH Derbyshire hall was filled with sounds of a hundred of duelling banjos as musicians from across Europe flocked to the area for an annual festival in October 2003.
The Midlands Banjo Festival was held at Bretby Conference Centre, having been organised by two enthusiasts from Burton.
The 2003 event was one of the biggest to date, attracting 115 visitors from as far away as Germany.
