I told her how we often started our children off on something easy to begin with. Like a mashed up banana, maybe mixed up with a side order of tofu if we felt like being crazy.

ONE of the joys of being old enough to have wrinkles and young enough not to care, is that you get the chance to pass on pearls of wisdom to youngsters.
Not that these pearls always go down well. Like cheese with mould on, they're not to everyone's taste. They are not always received with the thanks and appreciation they so obviously deserve. More often than not, they are greeted by a storm of shaking heads, scowling faces and grumbly words. Which is slightly irksome. Especially if, like me, you feel you have much wisdom to share with the younger generation. Sigh. The ungrateful beasts.
That's one of the drawbacks of being old enough to have wrinkles, younger people generally consider you to be as foolish as a piece of blue cheese. Which is ridiculous. Cheese with mould on it makes perfect sense, in my opinion. Blue or otherwise. But I digress.
Point is, when it comes to knowing passwords for online sites, youngsters may have a point. But when it comes to the real world, they often don't know the first thing, about anything. Let me give you an example.
