Southern Evesham take over from Yate at top of the table

YATE Town’s long-time leadership of Division One South came to an end with a 2-1 defeat at play-off hopefuls Mousehole.
Evesham United grabbed a 90th-minute goal to win 1-0 at Westbury United to take over at the top. However, it could not be closer with both clubs level on 79 points with three games left, and the Worcestershire outfit just one goal better off on goal difference.
Mousehole took an 11th-minute lead when Tim Nixon scored from close range following a free-kick.
Lucas Tomlinson lifted the ball over the onrushing Mousehole goalkeeper to equalise in the 41st minute.
