Prison sentence for tobacco thief

A MAN who stole thousands of pounds worth of tobacco from businesses in Bristol has been jailed.

Jamie Doyle, 36, was sentenced at Bristol Crown Court after pleading guilty to one count of robbery, four counts of commercial burglary and two counts of shoplifting.
The court heard Doyle, of no fixed address, violently pushed a staff member in the Co-Op on Two Mile Hill Road at about 8.10am on October 9. He then stole thousands of pounds worth of tobacco from the shop.
