Plans are already underway for 48th balloon festival

THE 47th annual Bristol International Balloon Fiesta, inset, came to a close with the fourth and final successful mass launch of the weekend on Sunday evening. And many are now suffering with post-Fiesta blues.

Organisers have already started looking forward to next year and thinking about what could be in store for as they inch ever closer to the fiesta's 50th anniversary.
Next year will see the 48th annual Bristol International Balloon Fiesta and, while no official announcements have been made as to what it will entail as of yet, here's what we believe to be true so far...
