Noise complaints Decision pushed back on gym future

A GYM in Fishponds will be allowed to continue trading into the new year, as a decision on its future is postponed - due to the number of objections residents have raised against it.
Kulture Training Club opened at 2 New Station Way in July, despite the fact its owners were refused planning permission to convert the former car dealership into a gym.
One of the primary reasons the self-described 'premium gym built on community' was denied planning permission was due to fears about the amount of noise it would generate.
Those fears were borne out; after the gym opened over 100 locals, many of them elderly, complained the constant noise coming from the premises was making them miserable.
Kulture is located near to two residential streets, Brook Road and Tyndale Avenue, along with the Purdy Court retirement complex.
