Mad for music and a fan of having fun? Then head to The Wardrobe Theatre for The Jukebox Mashup. NATALIE BANYARD spoke to musician Craig Mitchell about his hit show

- NATALIE BANYARD

If you're up for a night of brilliant live music, uproarious fun, and spontaneous audience interaction - and who isn't? - The Jukebox Mashup is the show for you.

Wiltshire-based singer, guitar player and comedian Craig Mitchell brings The Jukebox Mashup to The Wardrobe Theatre tonight (Friday) - and audiences are in for a treat.

Craig's show is a comedy music request gig based entirely on audience suggestions. Rock up to the theatre and ask for any song in the world, then Craig will play and sing it on guitar. No rehearsal. No looking up chords. Instantly! Then the magic starts to happen as Craig begins to 'mashup' three or four songs at the same time to make an epic improvised tune. As more audience requests pour in, more epic mashups are created!

In this unique, fast-paced and riotous evening of music, Craig will cover over 40 songs in an hour from all genres and artists chosen entirely by the audience. If for any reason Craig doesn't know the song, it's made up on the spot based on the title. And you are absolutely encouraged to stitch him up.
