I'm going into the red for the burgundy trend
Bristol Post
|October 16, 2025
NOT for the first time in my life, I fear I may have been overdoing it on the wine recently.
-
Don't worry, I am not in danger of being hauled off to rehab. My liver is not in any imminent danger (I don't think!).
However, I have been on a bit of a burgundy binge. Not in bars or late-night drinking dens but in my favourite corners of the high street.
As anyone who is anyone in the fashion business will tell you, burgundy is THE colour of the season.
Chocolate brown was also a contender but I'd say the reddish-brown hue won out.
It's not unusual to see burgundy booming in the cooler months, but this year it feels like it is everywhere.
