Cricket Glos snap up Aussie pace ace for six games

AUSTRALIAN fast bowler Gabe Bell is to join Gloucestershire for the first six matches of the 2026 Rothesay County Championship.
Bell's spell includes away fixtures against Middlesex at Lord’s and Derbyshire, plus home games against Durham, Lancashire, Kent and Northants at Nevil Road.
Across 51 Sheffield Shield appearances, Tasmania's Bell, pictured, has taken 192 wickets, including nine four-wicket hauls, two five-wicket returns and one 10-wicket match haul.
He's carried that currently ninth on the Sheffield Shield wicket-taking list with 16 wickets in five matches. Standing at 195 cms, the 30-year-old brings reliable pace and steep bounce - qualities that helped him take 41 wickets in the 2023-24 season.
