Taxpayers dumped with £20k bill
A HUGE fly-tip in Avonmouth is set to cost taxpayers £20,000 to clean up, the council has said.
The vast rubbish pile - which contains nappies, pallets, household furniture, building waste and plastic tanks - has been discarded along Kings Weston Lane. The eyesore, estimated to stretch some 40 metres, was dumped just a mile from Bristol Waste's Avonmouth Household Reuse and Recycling Centre.
