'Water relief on the way'
Bosveld Review
|October 23, 2025
THE Mogalakwena Municipality recently received three of six newly procured water tankers.
"With these additions, the municipality now has a total of 11 operational trucks delivering water to communities," said Mayor Ngoako Taueatsoala. He added that the broader plan is to expand the fleet to 16 tankers to improve service delivery across all areas. "Currently, five trucks are out of operation and awaiting maintenance," he said.
A comprehensive report has been compiled outlining the municipality's water challenges.
As part of the implementation plan, priority will be given to the most critically affected villages identified in the report.
