LIFT-OFF FOR A SECOND CHOPPER
Boston Target
|June 11, 2025
A CHARITY will be able to save more lives than ever before thanks to the purchase of a second helicopter.
-
The Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance Charity currently operates with just one helicopter, its yellow AW169.
The organisation, which works to save lives across Nottinghamshire, has secured a spot on the production line in Italy for a new helicopter, costing around £7m.
The charity currently responds to around four missions every day, but as mission numbers rise, the second aircraft will help the team reach as many patients as possible.
