FESTIVAL WILL HOST WRITERS AT SERIES OF WEEKEND TALKS
ONE final event is expected to take place at Fydell House next month, before Boston's landmark Queen Anne house closes its doors for renovation.
The Boston History Book festival will take place on Saturday, June 7 and Sunday, June 8.
The historic Guildhall is hosting Saturday's authors, starting with the Sunday Times best-selling author Alison Weir talking about the many faces of Thomas Wolsley. The festival will then welcome Melita Thomas with her book 1,000 Tudor People.
British architectural historian, Jonathan Foyle will be dropping in to talk about the wonders of Lincoln Cathedral. The day will close with Lincolnshire born Adrian Gray talking about the gentry of our county.
The festival will be based in Fydell House on Sunday, starting with local author Adam Cartwright and his talk on Bateman's Brewery. Nicholas Bennett is after with a fascinating talk about Boston during the war.
It continues into the day with Rory Waterman and Anna Milon with Lincolnshire Folks tales. The weekend is closing with an talk and book launch from Rosanna McGlone.
Refreshments will be served throughout the weekend in the stunning grounds of Fydell House. Buy three tickets to see different authors on the same day and lunch will be provided free.
