Don't give up hope quite yet because help may be at hand from Boston Borough Council.
A selection of houses in the fens in Wyberton, close to the new Jake-man’s Community Stadium and Boston United Football Club is being offered at for a steal with a discount of 30 percent.
The development, by Chestnut Homes will be close to the A16 and already features the new Boston United stadium, a Starbucks, Costa Coffee, Greggs, and a Travelodge Hotel.
Wyberton is close to sea level, but according to Chestnut’s website, the developers have raised the ground floor level in all the homes, and used flood resilient construction in some of the properties too.
To the East, the development is close to the medieval settlement of Tytton, which had a moat is now Tytton Hall and the Tytton Court. To the West on the London Road is a historic pub called ‘The Pincushion’
Nearby on the corner of Low Road, Bunker’s Hill Lane and Slippery Gowt Lane is a crossroads, his torically known as Stump Cross.
