Community urged to attend and have their say at AGM

Blairgowrie and Rattray Development Trust (BRDT) is to hold its AGM later this week - with the group's chair urging people to come along and hear about the work carried out in the community.

The meeting - which takes place on November 6 in the town hall at 6pm - is open to everyone to attend, will look at some of the highlights of the Trust's activities in the financial year 2024/25.

As well as the formal business, which will include reports by BRDT's chair and treasurer and the election of trustees, there will also be a short presentation on the Trust's plans for 2026.

There will also be an opportunity to view sections of the new Discover Blairgowrie website which the team at BRDT has been working on, and to hear about the new Town Projects initiative.

BRDT is a charity that works with local people, community groups, businesses, the local authority and other stakeholders to help support and encourage a thriving and attractive town with a strong sense of community and identity, and to have a positive impact for those who live, work and visit Blairgowrie and Rattray.
