Starting a new chapter for Layton and Grange Park

For too long, Layton and Grange Park - like many neighbourhoods in Blackpool South - have been left behind. But that changes now.
As one of 25 national “trailblazer neighbourhoods”, the area will receive at least £20 million in long-term Government investment over the next decade.
That's £2 million a year dedicated to community-led regeneration.
It's a major breakthrough - and proof that when we fight for our fair share, real change can happen.
This isn’t just about money. It’s about mission-critical action.
Recently, in parliament, I highlighted that 34 neighbourhoods in Blackpool South are among the furthest from reaching national goals on health, education, skills, crime and prosperity.
