Christmas arrives in Kirkham this Saturday with the annual lights switch-on.

There is a full day of fun in store ahead of the town's Christmas tree being lit up at 5pm, with festive market stalls on the main Poulton Street, community centre and St Michael's Church from 10am, plus appearances from Father Christmas, The Grinch and a children's entertainer.
