Complaints against Adult Services up but fewer upheld

A report on customer feedback on Blackpool's Adult Services shows that complaints are up - but the number of upheld issues has radically dropped.
A report has gauged the latest feedback on Blackpool's Adult Services
The report, using data from people who use the service, has been compiled by the council's customer relations manager as part of a scrutiny process looking into the council's adult services.
The council logs feedback figures each year and so is able to compare satisfaction rates, year-on-year.
This year's report comes against the backdrop of Ofsted giving Blackpool's Adult Services an 'inadequate' rating earlier but since then the council has been developing a programme of improvements, addressing issues in the inspectors' report.
