The big story of the weekend
-
Christmas by the Sea has been entertaining tens of thousands of visitors over the festive holidays and this Sunday is the last chance to experience the winter wonderland.
Weather permitting the festive market and fairground rides will be open from noon until 9pm at the Tower Festival Headland in Blackpool.
Just head for the Comedy Carpet and be greeted by the sight of adrenalin-pumping rides and plenty of street food offerings.
And you can start your 2026 Christmas shopping early with stalls selling festive goodies.
