An opportunity for Fylde to get their breath back

Fylde RFC are facing a weekend off just three games since their last one - though supporters may welcome the chance to get their breath back after another nerve-shattering finish.

- by Andy Moore

Saturday's 24-20 win at Otley was Fylde's fifth straight away success in National Two North this season, four of them achieved by five points or fewer.

They had a 10-point lead overturned in the second half but sealed victory with two Danny Cassidy penalties in the final five minutes.

Even then Fylde had to withstand last-gasp pressure from a home side reduced to 13 men by two late sinbinnings.
