New role for pub used by real Blinders

THE real Garrison pub - which inspired the fictional local of the same name in BBC’s Peaky Blinders - has reopened after years of neglect as a kitchen and bedroom shop.

The former Small Heath pub was more than 100 years old when it closed in 2014. It remained shut for a decade, slowly rotting away.
Countless Peaky Blinder-inspired bars have popped up around the world since the hit series launched in 2013.
