INCREASED FINES IN CRACKDOWN ON WASTE
A COUNCIL has warned fly-tippers they face hefty fines if caught dumping waste.
It comes after CCTV captured two men leaving rubbish across Wolverhampton. They have been ordered to pay a combined amount of more than £2,000.
The first incident was filmed on April 27, 2024, when a van and car were driven onto land off Millfields Road at around 9.20pm. A local security firm provided the footage to officials at the City of Wolverhampton Council.
A large quantity of waste was dumped, including bulky furniture and household waste.
