WARWICKSHIRE play their seventh fixture in the Premier Division of the UKDA National League this coming weekend, a tough away game against Yorkshire at the Glasshoughton W.M.C, Castleford, West Yorkshire.

- By ALAN TOWE

Yorkshire are currently third in the division with 139 points from seven games while Warwickshire have 113 points from six games and are placed seventh.

Warwickshire are not enjoying the best of starts so far as in the six games they have played, they have won one, drawn two and lost three, their win coming on the opening day of the new season when they won 25-11 at Cornwall.

Hoping to register Warwickshire's second win will be, Men’s ‘A’: Dave Atkins, Gareth Braham, Jack Wareing, Kevin Dowling, Mark Martin, Matty Washbrooke, Nigel Heydon, Noel Grant, Ryan Jackson, Sam Price, Taylor McGuckian, Zac Prince, Men’s ‘B’: Adam Hancock, Ian Shaw, Jason Meek, Jason Prince, Jnr Joyce, Karl Reynolds, Keith Deeley, Lee Miller, Lloyd Jackson, Mark Carter, Mark Strong, Will Naylor, Reserves: Dave Hill, Jamie Hughes, Danny Lauby, Steve Hine, Wayne Mynard, Women’s ‘A’: Marian Conway, Wendy Adams, Caroline Pike, Kacie O'Connor, Natalie Gilbert, Donna Pinch, Women’s ‘B’: Nina Bolt, Kirsty Hinchliffe, Lucy Shepherd, Hannah Meek, Jodie Rigg, Macy Gibbons, Reserves: Claire Greenwood, Courtney Hine.

In the L-Style Division One of the UKDA National League, Black Country will be hoping to return to winning ways this coming weekend when they will be taking on second in the division, Somerset whose 151 points are 40 more than their hosts. However, Black Country have played one game fewer than Somerset and hopes are that home advantage at Allens Sports Bar, Newhall Street, Tipton will be the deciding factor.

It was Divisional League Cup semifinals week in the Sheldon and District Winter League and in the Premier League the current second and third placed teams in the table, Langley Arrows and Sheldon Marlborough Arrows, in turn won 6-3 and 7-2 against Kingshurst Labour Club and RAFA, with Nigel Robinson notching a maximum for Kingshurst Labour.
