Vitor calls for unity in a bid to ease pressure
Birmingham Mail
|September 23, 2025
HEAD coach Vitor Pereira says he understands the fans’ frustrations and hopes Wolves can benefit from a change of scenery when they host Everton in the third round of the Carabao Cup tonight.
A 3-1 Premier League defeat to newly-promoted Leeds at Molineux on Saturday left winless Wolves rooted to the foot of the table with a tricky-looking trip to Tottenham to come on Saturday night.
Pereira, who signed a new three-year deal last week, said: “I understand their feelings but I know we can change everything with a good result, to give us confidence so we have the tranquillity to play in our level. I am sure we can do it together with the supporters but, in this moment, I understand the supporters because they are as frustrated as I am. I am frustrated because I want to see them smiling at the end of a game and celebrating with the team and, for sure, we'll do it again.
