University's green energy centre wins cash backing

ASTON GETS £35.5M FOR PROJECT
A NEW green energy centre will be built on the campus of a Birmingham university after it was awarded £35.5 million in grant funding to support the project.
Aston University has secured the capital from the Government's Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme and will now work towards its own net-zero emissions targets.
The green energy centre will be created in a newly-acquired building, in Woodcock Street, which will eventually be home to its business school and healthcare and business hubs.
