Unai the man with inspired Villa plan - Sancho

JADON Sancho has revealed Unai Emery played a pivotal role in convincing him to join Villa on loan for the season.
The 25-year-old winger arrived from Manchester United in a straight season-long deal on deadline day, with Villa covering 80% of his wages.
Last season, Sancho was on loan at Chelsea, where he featured in 31 Premier League games and helped the club win the UEFA Conference League in May.
“First of all, when I spoke to the manager, he gave me belief and confidence,’ he told Villa TV. “He showed me the plan for this year, and it really inspired me. He definitely persuaded me, and I can’t wait to work under him.
“As a player - and as a team - we have to aim high. We have to focus on achieving big things, and hopefully I can contribute to that. Wherever the manager needs me, I'll be happy to play. I have individual goals, of course, but my main priority is the team.
