TWO men have been charged after a woman in Solihull was allegedly 'kidnapped'.

David Meredith, 59, of Port Street in Evesham, and Shane Perry, 54, of Birmingham Road in Stratford, face kidnap and fraud charges after an alleged incident involving a woman in her 80s.

West Midlands Police received reports of two men "posing as workmen taking advantage of an elderly woman".
