Three men attacked in rare coin raid

POLICE are appealing after three elderly men in Dudley were attacked by thieves who stole a large collection of gold and silver Royal Mint coins.

The victims aged 75, 79, and 84, were injured after raiders burst into the unit on Birmingham New Road, on Sunday at 4.20pm.
A large quantity of collectible gold and silver coins were stolen which consisted of mainly boxed Royal Mint coins in their original presentation boxes with proof of authenticity.
