WOULD it be terribly wrong of me to suggest that Australian actress Stefanie Jones is the best Mary Poppins there's ever been?
Would fans of Julie Andrews - the admittedly wonderful original Mary - from around the world rain down their wrath on me for daring to say so?
Well, to hell with the consequences, I’m going to say it...
I've seen the Andrews film many times and I've seen Mary Poppins on stage twice before, and never have I been so mesmerised by the leading lady.
