Teacher who replaced art in exam folder escapes ban

PANEL HEARS OF SWAP FOR GCSE
A BIRMINGHAM teacher who added her own work to a pupil’s GCSE art portfolio has avoided a classroom ban.
Monica Anna Cendrowicz’s actions resulted in a Teaching Regulation Agency (TRA) professional conduct panel.
The panel heard that ahead of a moderator arriving in the classroom at Smith’s Wood Academy in Birmingham to look at Year 11 GCSE artwork on May 27, 2022, a man referred to as Witness A, had visited the art room.
He had looked at the artwork on display and was impressed with three pieces that had been attributed to a student referred to as Pupil A.
Witness A later congratulated Pupil A ~ but when he showed the images, she said the work was not hers.
