THIS was the moment a police foot chase ended with the suspect flying headfirst into a lamp post while wearing only one shoe.
A police officer sprinted after the man down a Birmingham street before a would-be hero tried to intervene.
The man tripped up before flying into a lamp post momentarily appearing to be "knocked out", according to witnesses.
The suspect appeared to get back up and try to carry on but he stumbled again and was intercepted by an officer.
