BLUES could now fill St Andrew's with season-ticket holders. That sentence in itself shows the club’s transformation over the last two years.
The renewal window ended last Friday and Blues reported a 98% uptake.
They had 18,200 season-ticket holders last season, including 500 funded by local businessman Andy Griffiths for supporters from underprivileged back grounds.
And there are more than 14,000 on the waiting list hoping to be the chosen ones when season tickets go back on sale on Thursday, June 19.
With just shy of 30,000 seats inside St Andrew’s, Blues could sell out every one based on the number of supporters on that list.
However, not everyone can be successful. Due to away ticket allocations and segregation, around 26,000 seats are available to home fans.
