Ryan has to shuffle his pack again as injuries take a toll

Birmingham Mail

RYAN Mason says his Albion side need to get through this tricky period and try and get as many results as possible while the squad is 'probably a little bit thin'.

- By DAN NEWBOULD

Albion suffered another injury setback when new right-back Alfie Gilchrist came off against Watford with an ankle problem. Jayson Molumby was absent from that match, as was Toby Collyer and Krystian Bielik was ill. Strikers Daryl Dike and Josh Maja are being nursed back from their injuries, as is Karlan Grant, while Tammer Bany is also on the road to recovery.

Such is the Championship, the games come thick and fast and Albion travel to Ipswich but Mason insists they will have a team out that is ready to compete.

The Tractor Boys will be looking to bounce back from a 3-0 loss at home to Charlton, as will the Baggies themselves after defeat to Watford in mid week.
