Rodent firm's warning 'buffet on tap' for rats

UNCOLLECTED food rubbish is providing "a buffet on tap" for rodents in Birmingham, a pest control business says.
Hullternative Pest Control, an independent family-run business based in Minworth, near Sutton Coldfield, said rodents are booming because of the city binmen strike action.
The firm has tripled its orders of poison but the rodents were said to have become "bolder and braver" due to the food supply.
Service manager Martin Hull said: "We've had a really big increase in calls, about 70 to 80%.
"That's domestic and not our contracted works and it's all because of the bin strikes.
