Plans for a KFC near Hawthorns submitted

A NEW KFC drive-thru could now be built opposite West Bromwich Albion's home ground after plans for a Tim Hortons café were dropped.
A planning application by KFC has been submitted to Sandwell Council asking for permission to build the fast-food restaurant and drive-thru on the corner of Birmingham Road and Park Lane, a stone's throw from the Championship club's Hawthorns ground.
The drive-thru would be open 24 hours a day according to the planning application.
The work also includes a 19-space car park, electric vehicle (EV) charging points and outdoor seating.
