JLR backs crisis talks amid cyber shutdown

JAGUAR Land Rover (JLR) has welcomed an 'extraordinary meeting' which was held yesterday in response to the recent cyber attack on the British manufacturer.
-
The data hack attack at the start of this month damaged the automaker’s production and IT facilities.
The cyber attack could lead to hundreds of job losses and has forced JLR factories - including the two in Wolverhampton and Solihull - to temporarily shut down.
Companies linked to the car manufacturer are being stung by JLR’s pause on operations.
Among them are Birmingham auto industry suppliers employing hundred of people in the city.
