|April 18, 2025
THE bosses of an historic Birmingham pub have slammed an "offensive" review after the pub was called "low budget" with "a lack of ambience".
The criticism was aimed at The Old Crown in Digbeth, a beloved boozer widely regarded as the oldest in Birmingham following the closure of The Lad in the Lane in 2019.

On Google Reviews, The Old Crown has a 4.5 score out of five stars, based on over 2,200 independent reviews.
Recent satisfied customers include Alejandro, who said: "In March, we travelled from Valencia, Spain, to see a rare band play and check out the city.
