Heartbroken mum in hunt for mystery man

Demari Thomas

A HEARTBROKEN mum has appealed for a man who was with her son in his last moments to come forward.

Teenager Demari Thomas died when his motorcycle was involved in a headon crash with a Ford Fiesta in Monmouth Drive, near Sutton Park, shortly before 8pm on September 27, 2021.

The ambulance service sent four ambulances, plus a paramedic, trauma doctor and critical care paramedic to the scene but nothing could be done to save the 16-year-old.

Every year since the crash, Demari’s family and friends have held a memorial event at the site of the accident to pay their respects to the teenager, who would now be approach ing his 21st birthday.
