Pixel to the power of
IT doesn't seem that long since we were talking about Google as a new player in the phone hardware market - but incredibly, the search giant has been making smartphones for 10 years now.
This week, it revealed details of the Pixel 10 lineup which includes a base model, two flagship Pro devices, and a foldable. It also showed off a new pair of earbuds and the fourth version of Google's Pixel Watch.
While the new watch and headphones are obviously good news, the headliner is clearly the new lineup of phones.
The big upgrade for the 10, as usual, is in the processor the Tensor G5. This is the most powerful Google-designed chip yet made, and that power is harnessed here to best effect when powering the new Al features the 10 boasts.
The latest Gemini model will run first on these phones and bring a few new Al features.
Magic Cue is the main new thing - it can find info on your phone for you in various apps before you actually know you need it... things like having flight details to hand when you call the airline.
