Frankfurt Christmas market set to return

CITY POLICE AND ORGANISERS WORK TOGETHER TO KEEP VISITORS SAFE
WEST Midlands Police and Counter Terrorism Policing West Midlands are working together with Frankfurt Christmas Market organisers again this year to keep the annual city centre event safe.
On its website, market organisers have reassured visitors not to be alarmed if they see police and security staff at the event, which begins on Saturday, November 1.
It's the first time the market has ever started on a Saturday so it’s likely to draw excited crowds as people flock for the first bratwursts and weissbiers of the season.
Construction has already begun on the market, with stalls planned for Victoria Square and along New Street as well as rides and the ice skating rink on Centenary Square.
