THREE IN HOSPITAL FOLLOWING EARLY-MORNING INCIDENT AT MANGO

- JAMIE BRASSINGTON News Reporter

A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a shooting at a Birmingham nightclub.

The shooting took place at Mango nightclub at around 3am on Saturday morning.

In an update issued yesterday, West Midlands Police said that one of the injured men is now in a stable condition in hospital.

Two other men are also undergoing treatment for injuries not believed to be life-threatening and a woman, who was initially believed to have suffered a gunshot injury, is now thought to have sustained her injury when she fell during the disturbance. She has been discharged from hospital.

West Midlands Police said a 32-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder at around 9.30am on Saturday and three women in their 20s and 30s were arrested from a car on the M6 in Warwickshire on suspicion of violent disorder.

They have since been released on bail while enquiries continue
