Deeney: I would back Rogers as England's perfect 10
Birmingham Mail
|November 26, 2025
TROY Deeney believes Morgan Rogers has 'settled down' after a poor start to the season.
The England international scored twice to help Aston Villa come from a goal down at Leeds United on Sunday to win 2-1.
A neat near-post finish cancelled out Lukas Nmecha's opener before Rogers shot from a free-kick for the first time in his career and produced a stunning knuckleball effort that left keeper Lucas Perri standing.
